  • Matloob Hussain, 42, of Doncaster Road, Thrybergh, Rotherham, S65 3 – one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under 13
  • Amjad Ali, 36, of Broad Lane, Hodthorpe, Worksop, already pleaded guilty to one count of sexual intercourse with a girl under 13. He was jailed for 11 years.

Mark Langan, Crown Prosecution Service lawyer, said the girls were subjected to “appalling abuse” and targeted because they were “naïve and vulnerable”.

He said: “These men have been found guilty of a catalogue of vile sex offences against two young girls [who] were given alcohol and cannabis and intimidated into performing sexual acts.

“On one occasion, one was locked alone in a flat for hours without food, water or electricity.

Det Ch Insp Martin Tate, who oversaw the inquiry, said: “The court heard harrowing evidence from two very brave women whose childhoods were robbed by these men.”

One of the victims of the men shouted back “justice is served!” as the sex attackers were taken away by court guards.

Six men – including three brothers – sexually assaulted the underage girls over two years.

One of the girls was just 11 years old when the abuse started and became pregnant when she was 12, Sheffield Crown Court heard.

The victim said in the statement read in court: ”There’s evil and truly evil people in the world. I feel my child was the product of pure evil.”

The girls, one of which was 12 at the time and the other 13 to 14, were “subjected to horrific sexual abuse”, the officer added.

Det Ch Insp Tate said: “No child should ever have to experience what these women have had to endure. I hope today’s result offers them both some resolution after so many years of anguish.”

He thanked the women for their “support and courage” over the past two years, and their families and witnesses who played “vital roles” in convicting the men.

Brothers Basharat Dad, 32, and Nasar, 36, carried out horrifying attacks at two addresses in Rotherham between 1999 and 2001.

The brothers would spend time “chilling” with the girls in the back room of their father’s firework shop the South Yorks city.

A horrifying account was read out in court of one occasion when the two brothers locked their victim in their “dirty” flat overnight.

The brothers cut off electricity and running water to the flat and she was rescued by her mother the following day.

She was raped twice on two separate occasions by Basharat and Nasar, who made her feel like a “prostitute”.

A 13-year-old girl also said the brothers gave her cannabis and alcohol, with Basharat filling up her glass every time she finished it.

She passed out and when she woke up she was in bed with Basharat and his brother Tayib Dad, 33, and realised she had been raped.

The first victim’s pregnancy at the age of 12 made headlines in 2001 when she was portrayed as one of Britain’s youngest ever mothers.

Judge Sarah Wright praised the first victim for her bravery saying: “She remarkably transformed her life from there on, putting her own child first.

Basharat Dad was jailed for 20 years after being found guilty of six counts of rape, five counts of indecent assault and one count of false imprisonment.

Nasar Dad, was jailed for 14 and a half years after he was found guilty of rape, inciting indecency with a child and false imprisonment.
