Eight men have been charged with sexual offences following an investigation into child sexual exploitation in Calderdale, police said.
West Yorkshire Police said the alleged offences were committed between 2006 and 2009 and involved a female victim then aged between 12 and 15.
Mohammed Adnan, Shebhan Mohammed Ahmed, Amazar Ali, Naveed Anjum, Imran Hussain, Khalid Kamran, Mohammed Faheem Mahmood and Adal Manaf have been charged with sexual offences.
The men will appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
- Mohammed Adnan, 42, from Halifax, is charged with one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault.
- Shebhan Mohammed Ahmed, 41, from Halifax, is charged with two counts of rape
- Imran Hussain, 48, from Halifax, is charged with attempted rape.
- Amazar Ali, 52, from Huddersfield, is charged with two counts of sexual activity with a child.
- Naveed Anjum, 48, from Halifax, is charged with one count of sexual activity with a child.
- Khalid Kamran, 33, from Leeds charged with one count of rape
- Adal Manaf, 46, from Halifax, charged with one count of rape.
- Mohammed Faheem Mahmood, 39, from Halifax, charged with one count of rape.
