“These offenders abused the trust of the vulnerable young victims for the purpose of their own sexual gratification.
“The girls were subject to horrific sexual offences including, in some cases, rape at the hands of these defendants.

A gang of five men and a teenager in April 2015 who subjected underage girls to sexual abuse in Banbury Oxfordshire after grooming them have been jailed which means most likely all members of Banbury’s grooming gang are now walking among us!.
The defendants attacked seven victims, aged 13 to 15, in cars, woods or at the defendants’ homes in Banbury.
At the same court, each of the men were handed sentences of between three and nine years.
- Ahmed Hassan-Sule, 21, of Glynbourne Gardens, Hardwick, Banbury, OX16 1 was sentenced to nine years imprisonment, with a further five years on licence
- Mohamed Saleh, 22, of Orchard Way, Neithrop, Banbury, OX16 0, was jailed for four years and nine months
- Said Saleh, 20, of Orchard Way, Neithrop, Banbury, OX16 0, was jailed for four years
- Takudzwa Hova, 21, of Broughton Road, Neithrop, Banbury, OX16 9 was sentenced to six years with a further four years on licence;
- Kagiso Manase, 21, of Warwick Road, Neithrop, Banbury, OX16 0 received five years.
- Zsolt Szaltoni, 18, of Portway, Hardwick, Banbury, OX16 1 was sentenced to three years in a young offenders institution.
- Alexandru Nae, 19, of Broome Way, Banbury, was acquitted of one count of sexual activity with a child and one count of rape

One of the victims said: “When I used to go missing I would swear at my mum and I didn’t realise I was being really nasty to her. The men put me against my family – it was really clever. When I started hanging around with them I felt important.
The verdicts were –
- Ahmed Hassan-Sule was found guilty of 13 counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of assault by penetration
- Kagiso Manase was convicted of three counts of sexual activity with a child, two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and one count of sexual assault
- Takudzwa Hova was found guilty of one count of rape, one count of sexual activity with a child and two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He was found not guilty of one count of rape
- Mohamed Saleh was found guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a child. He was found not guilty of one count of sexual activity with a child and one count of rape
- Said Saleh was convicted of one count of sexual activity with a child but was found not guilty of another count
“Calling people ‘slags’ as the defence did in this case stops other girls from coming forward. I would say to other girls to think about the future. I never wanted to do it. I never wanted to have sex with them but I thought that’s what friends did.
