A Hull predator plied vulnerable child and adult with drugs and alcohol at his home before sexually assaulting them both.
Jabar Rashid, 46, targeted both his victims and invited them back to his home in Great Thornton Street, where he gave them alcohol and drugs. He then sexually assaulted them.
Rashid appeared pleaded guilty to three offences of sexual assault and supplying cannabis when he appeared at Hull Magistrates’ Court earlier this year. He was today jailed for three years.
Humberside Police have praised the victims for their bravery in reporting Rashid. Officer in the case, PC Vicky Taylor said: “Firstly I want to praise the victims for their strength and bravery throughout the investigation and court proceedings.
“I hope that today’s sentencing enables them to feel some sense of justice for the ordeal they faced at the hands of this man. Rashid committed dreadful offences, targeting vulnerable victims, and taking advantage of them and I am reassured that he is now off the streets.
